As on other occasions when families have moved away from aihongst us the | neighbours and friends thought it most fitting to show them in some way the respect in which they were held by us. So a presentation to them was in the offing. Most of the villagers contributed. The party met in front of Mr. and Mrs. Doupe's store and were conveyed in three cars to the Eadie home on Elgin St. W., Oshawa. This sudden influx of Prince Albertans had the hostess thinking for a. few moments. When the shock was over the invaders settled down to thegfirst stage of the pregram (small talk) as' some author has. called it. During al momentary absence of the hosts it was decided about time to make the pre- sentation.
