PORT PERRY ROD AND GUN CLUB A meeting of the Port Perry Rod and Gun Club was held in the Arm- ouries on Monday evening, March 18, and was well attended with additional new members being the membership up to eighteen. Mr, Camplin was elected as chair- man of the Lake Front and Sports Committee. It will be the duty of the committee to organize sports on the lake during the season, and Mr. Camplin has promised that there will be plenty of it. The Casting Committee reported that the grounds at the rear of the Post Office had been selected for lawn casting, no definite date has been set for the starting of the casting, but will be under way as soon as the warm up. The fact that the Club is planning much activities for the season, and it is the wish of the Club to have the good fellowship of the community in its sporting events, There is in the presant plans a fish- ing trip on Lake during the season, and on the sports day many competi- tions will be for both Club and open events to all. ~The next Club meeting will be Mon-, day, April 1st."
