OBITUARY THE LATE SUSANNA CHRISTIE Death claimed another of the older residents of the Uxbridge district when Mrs. Susanna Christie passed away at Victoria Corners on Friday, September 4th, 1942, in her 76th year. The deceased, a daughter of the late Elizabeth -and John Madill, was born and lived in Seott Township. In 1897 she married the late Mr. Edwin - Christie and moved to Utica where they farmed on the 6th conces- sion of Reach until the death of Mr. Christie, three years ago. Left to mourn the death of a kind and loving mother are two sons, Allie at Epsom and Alpine at Weston, Ont., and three daughters, (lola) Mus. C. Heard, of Uxbridge; (Jean) Mrs, Edrl "Thompson, Victoria Corners, and (Cora) Mrs, Ernest Gunyon of a- side, and eight grandchildren. Two brothers, Mr. Wesley Madill of the U.S.A. and Sam Madill of Beaver- ton, and two sisters (Minnie) Mrs. G. W. Smith of Sandford, and (Lydia) of Sandford, also survive.
