WELSH-REYNOLDS _._ Moorefield United Church was the scene of a very lovely candlelight wedding on Friday, September 19th, when Doris Elynore Welsh, second daughter of Mrs, R, D. Welsh and the late Mr. Welsh, became the bride of Sgt.-Pilot Walter C. Reynolds of God- erich, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs, A. Reynolds, Ashburn, The thurch was prettily decorated with standards of Gladiolus and cream candles in silver holders, , 'The bride, given in marriage by her / brother, Mr. Howard Welsh, entered the church to the strains of Mendels- sohn's Wedding March played by Mr. Millard Hammond. The bride was at- tired in a gown of white satin with lace full length skirt and train, with halo fingertip veil trimmed with pearls, She carried a white Bible. The matron of honour, Mrs. Gerald Mitchell looked charming in a floor- 'length gown of dusty rose love silk with matching 'halo and carrying a bouquet of Talisman roses, cornflower and Bovardia tied with blue streamers and wearing a pearl and gold locket. The bridesmaids, Miss Georgina Reynolds, -sister of the groom and Norma Welsh, sister of the bride, "were gowned in floor-length dresses of heavenly blue lové silk. with bou- _quets of Sweetheart roses, Cornflower and Bovardia tied with rose streamers, wearing gold lockets. Anderson of the death of Herbert Mortimer McKenzie, grandson of the late Dr. J. A. Murray, and son of Mrs. Florence McKenzie and the late H. McKenzie. a Mr, McKenzie was 42, a well-known member of the Goodyear mute colony, died at his home 77 E. Exchange St. Akron, Ohio.
