LPR RR AETV d ade LR RY FRE ATI Port. Perry Thieves Captured Three times during the past two or three weeks petty steal ing of the burglary type has been going on. Mr. McKee's re- freshment booth was entered and a quantity of goods taken. Mrs. H. Hope lost $12.00 from her apartment. The latest vie- tim, was Mr. Michell (at Bivds- eve Center) whose refreshment booth was broken into and robbed. Something ought to be done about this matter. If it is ne- cessary to have a night watch- man, the expense would be slight in comparison to the security of property. Already three citi- zens have borne a loss totalling between fifty and one. hundred dollars. If the robbers think that nothing will be done, they will naturally be encouraged to do some more stealing. Mr. Michell felt that something should he done, and with the aid of Mr. Cook and Provincial Police the two young thieves have been arrested in Toronto, where they belonged. > o> o> © Miss Irene Mulligan is spending FREE Parking Phone 1011 4 A Famous Players Theatre » OSHAWA LAST TWO GLORIOUS DAYS for the best picture of 1941.
