On Wednesday evening, Feb. 16th, Thomas R. Jeffrey, 76, passed away at his home in Colonsay, Sask. He his widow, formerly Dora Grace Brittan, to whom he was mar- ried in 1892, also three daughters and one son, all of whom were present for the funeral services: Mrs. .W. J. Par- rish, Mrs. H. Roddick, of Colonsay, -Francis Hornebrook of Winni- peg, Man.; and Harold B. Jeffrey, of Arborfield, Sask. " Mr. and Mrs. Jeffrey came to Col- onsay in 1912 from Prince Albert, in Ontario, and have always taken an active part in the community and church life of the district. Mr. Jef- frey had served on the United Church Board for many years and was a member of .the session at the time of his death, ~ The - funeral service was held in Colonsay United Church, conducted by the pastor, Rev.
