FACTS ABOUT EYES AND VISION By C. H. Tuck, Optometrist and Eyesight Specialist Pay For Vision Not Blindness Just as sure as is our efficiency or our fitness for any special type of work measured by the quality of our vision, so is it true that about 85% of all the knowledge gained is gained through the eyes. It is also said upon good authority that 80% of all muscle activity is controlled by the eyes. Modern civilization may be thanked for this. Insofar as we have been able to meet the demands made upon us, our efficiency has stepped up to fulfill these demands. It may be true that a few years ago we were termed old at 45. Now there is a place to be filled at that age and over and after the age of 45 man makes many valu- able contributions to society. rpg.
