Bankers and Metros played their postponed game of December 7 at 5 o'clock and it was a fight for which team would stay out of the cellar position, The Metros displayed their best form of the season and easily dis- posed of the Money Counters 20 to 5. "Doc." Adams pitching for the winners held his opponents safe throughout, while his teammates gave him good support. This was the first win for the Life Insurance men while Bankers sustained their sixth defeat without having won a game, On Wednesday Metros meet Business Men while Fittings clash' with the Bankers. The Knights have strengthened their line-up during the last few games and they will just about give the league leaders a strenuous workout when they meet, The soccerites se- cured their lone counter in the sec- ond innings but after that they never became dangerous. Supe To Meet Defeat Ward & Dewlands suffered their fourth defeat last evening in the Ladies' Indoor Baseball League when they lost to Superiors 21 to 9. Costly errors on the part of the losers' fielders gave Superiors sev- eral runs, Miss Morgan twirled her usual good game for the Salesladies but the support given her was any- thing but good.
