- SPORT Sportsmen Will Meet on Tuesday Officers of Athletic Association To Be Selected at Open "Meeting Preparations have been completed for a monster. meeting in the Town Hall next Tuesday ovening when the nomination of officers for the Oshawa Amateur Athletic Associa- tion 'will be held. The gathering it is expected will be one of the largest if not the largest gathering of local sporting men in.the history of the town, It is of the greatest importance that every person interested in the advancement of all branches of ath- letics be present to assist in choos- ing suitable dfficers. It is also im- portant that men be selected who are not connected with any particular line of sport and men who are pre- pared to spend much time in this work, ~ 1 Mr, H, E, Tylor, chairman 'of the comniittee appointed to arrange for an organization meeting, will be in the chair and will open the menting at 8 o'clock., An invitation is extend- ed to members of all sporting orgdn- izations and every citizen of the town, interested in tha movement. The committee has forwarded to - all clubs copies of the comstitution which was drafted a few days ago and a meeting of the committee and club. representatives will be held in the Y.M.C.A. at 7 o'clock Monday evening for the purpose of going over the rules and regulations, All representatives are requested to be on hand early, If there are any amendments to be suggested they will be considered at this meeting.
