It is gorgeously mounted and whirls one from Hades to the North Pole and back through candyland, pre- senting some of the most bewildering scenic effects ever offered before the footlights, particularly the snow storm, glaciers and aurora-borealis in the land of the midnight sun, With a cast "of par-excellence "Listen To Me" is promised as one of the few really dependable offer- ings of the season. Written by Charles George, who penned the hook, lyrics and music, it possesses every available bit of comedy, bril- liant settings and one of the smart- est musical scores heard in a long time, Tuneful and gay, with a romping, singing, dancing chorus of bewitch- ing girls, who bid fair to rival the Ziegfeld types, have proven a great asset to this remarkable success from its opening performance, and the theatre goers may look forward to their visit when they will share hon ors with the excellent cast whom they are called upon to support. DRAWING CONTEST FOR THR KIDDIES A novel and interesting drawing contest 18 taking place at the Re- gent Theatre this afternoon, One of the photo-plays being shown is of "Felix the Cat," and the hoygQr girl making the best drawing fr any part of the picture, will receive a prize of $6 in gold, The draw- ings will be judged by Mr, Lou Skuce, of Toronto when he comes to the Regent on October 9th, Mr, Skuce is one of Canada's best known cartoonists and it will be a real reception to him to have the Oshawa boys and girls send in a large number of drawings. Mr, Lou Skuce will be at the Re. gent on October th, 10th and 11th, Mr. Skuce will give one of his car- toonist acts and his visit will arouse much interest as he is well known to newspaper readers, OWEN MOORE IN "REPORTED MISSING" Coming to the Regent on Mon- day for a three days' run is the po- pular star, Owen Moore, in a thril- ling war story, "Reported Mis- sing." The photo-play was presented re- cently at the Capitol Theatre, New York and. is one of the best in which Owen Moore has played.
