The affiliation exercises of the girls of the C.G.I.T. groups with the Women's Missionary Society under the leadershp of Miss Reta Vokes, was an impressive cere- mony, The girls responded in uni- son to their pledges. The meeting closed with the girls singing "Fol- low the Gleam", After the affillation exercises supper was served in the dining hall, where the tables were laid for 200. WEDDING AT SEA The first duly authorized Roman Catholic wedding ceremony held at Sea, took place in the chapel aboard the Ile-de-France on Friday morning November 9, by special dispensation, celebrated, by the Rev, Father Leboure, and Bishop of La banon by special authorization of the Archbishop of Rouen. The Bride Miss de Quiros, is a direct descen- dant of Christopher Columbus, daughter of a Spanish Grandee, the bridegroom Mr, Robert Esuanult Pelterie, being an aviation pioneer and inventor, as well as an officer of the Legion of Honor and Presi- dent of the "Soclete des Savants et Inventeurs de France."
