Since Out: break of Infantile Louisyille, Ky., Sept. 30.--One hundred and fifty cases of infantile paralysis and 20 deaths have been recorded in Kentucky since the out- break of the epidemic in mid-July, Dr. P E. Blackerby, assistant state health officer, said here Tuesday. The plague started in the eastern part of the state, Dr, Blackerby said, but reached its peak there be- fore the cold spell of two weeks ago and then spread to the west. Davis County with 22 cases and Henderson County with five cases and two deaths are now the centres of the epidemic. : The cases for the most part ar isolated, and the ban against child- ren congregating in public schools only continues in scattered sections of the western part of the state, Blackerby added.
