December 1, 1958-July 15, 2022

Passed away peacefully on July 15th, 2022 at the place he loved the most; the cottage.

He will forever be in the hearts of his wife Kelly (nee McDonnell) and his daughters Rachael (Bob Little) and Chelsea (Matt Lipskey). He will be greatly missed by his grandkids Jake, Marshall, Sam, Kate and Gabby, of whom he was so proud. Andy will be missed by his favourite sister Louise May who he loved and cared for, very much.

Andy was a family man and close to both his immediate and extended family. Treasured son-in-law of Teresa McDonnell, his sister in-law Sherry Haight (Mark), brother in-law Dino McDonnell (Sue), his nieces and nephews Melissa, Dylan, Erin as well as many extended family members and dear friends.

Andy was predeceased by his brothers Christopher Cocks, Richard Cocks, his father Ronald Cocks, his mother Marion Cocks (nee Wright) and his father in-law Bernard McDonnell.

Born in Chatham, Kent, England and immigrated to Canada as a young boy, Andy had a curiosity and excitement for life that never, ever left him. He built a life he loved, together with his wife Kelly, recently celebrating 40 years of marriage. Andy loved his career and all the people he met along the way. The creative force behind many-a-project at home and at work; nothing gave him more satisfaction than a job well "done". Dependable, and selfless with his time, he was the person who would always come through, no matter what. Andy loved snowmobiling, fishing, a good campfire and a snooze on the couch with the dogs.

We will all miss the sound of his happy whistling.

Cremation has taken place. A private family memorial will be held. In lieu of flowers, if desired, donations in his memory could be made to Operation Sharing Woodstock or Wellington Animal Rescue.
