SWIMMING CLINICS THIS WEEKEND This coming weekend, Miss Pauline McCullagh of McMaster University, will be conducting a Spring- board Diving Clinic and Synchronized Swimming on Saturday, August 8th., and Sunday, August 9th., | respectively. The clinics are geared primarily for swim staff per- sonnel in the North Shore communities. Sponsors for the clinics are the Youth and Recreation Branch of the Department of Education, the Canadian Amateur Swimming Association (Ontario Section) and the Terrace Bay Recreation Committee. The reason for having these clinics is to enable swim staffs in all North Shore communities to promote competition in both Springboard Diving and Synchron= ized Swimming, both at the local and area level.
