Mr. and Mrs. Ed Borutski and family, and Mr. and Mrs. Tom Borutski, have returned after holidaying in the Ottawa Valley and attending their niece's wed- ding. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Borutski also visited with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Bronis Yantha. Mr. and Mrs. Norman Bottomley and Mrs. Neil Nesbitt spent a week in Hayward,Wisc ., visiting all their snowmobile friends. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Gray of Victoria, B .C., are visiting friends here. Mr. and Mrs. N. Wallace have returned after visiting her mother in New York. Mrs. Ray Nott of Greenwood, N.S., is holidaying with her mother, Mrs. F. Macadam and her brother and family Mr. and Mrs. R. Macadam. Mr. and Mrs. Chal McCuaig of Atikokan spent the weekend with his parents Mr. and Mrs. L. Mc-_ Cuaig. Mr. and Mrs. Tom Whent are holidaying at their cottage in White River. Mr. W. Harris is holidaying in Ireland and England Mrs. H. Stewart of Espanola is visiting friends in town. Mr. and Mrs. R. Mr. and Mrs. Karl Redins and family are motoring to Marshfield, Vermont to visit relatives. Mrs. R. Aho and family of Thunder Bay visited with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Leo Tookenay. Rev. and Mrs. A. Heller of Wilkesbarre, Penn. spent a few days with Mr. and Mrs. W. Miller and Mrs. Harriet McBride who accompanied them back to the States for a holiday. Stewart Wilson.of Marathon is spending his holidays at his camp at Walkers Lake. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Wills and family have gone to Winnipeg for a holiday. Mrs. Joe Caccamo is visiting her sister and family, Mr. and Mrs. Ross Appleton, and her brother and family, Mr. and Mrs. G. Nicoll in Owen Sound. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Boon and family of Thunder Bay are holidaying at their summer cottage at Wal- kers Lake. Miss Kelly McParland is spending a week§ holiday at her cousin's, Mr. and Mrs. S. Morrill, Thunder Bay . Mr. and Mrs. John Stortini of Sault Ste. Marie visited with her parents Mr. and Mrs. F. Harness and other relatives in town. Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Johnston of Lakewood, Calif. spent a week with her brother and family, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Stokes. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Fillmore, Heather, Joy and Faye of Champlain Heights, St. John, N.B. and Mr. and Mrs. P. Cole and children of Manitouwadge holi- dayed with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. Cole. Mr. and Mrs. Darcy McGuire and family are spending their holidays at St. Joseph's Island. Mr. and Mrs. Brian Hewson of Smith Falls spent the weekend with her parents :'Mr. and Mrs. D. Huard Mrs. W. Thrower spent a few days at the home of Mr. and Mrs. L. Nuttall in Hurket after attending the funeral of her nephew in Thunder Bay. Mrs. 1. O'Neil, Tammy and Michael are leaving | for Castlegar, B.C. to visit her daughter and family. Mrs. Wally Richardson and family will accompany her mother Mrs. O'Neil on this trip. Rev. and Mrs. Prinselaar and family were in Win- nipeg to attend a wedding and in Rev. Prinselaar's absence Mr. Peter Vandercam conducted the service in St. Andrew's United Church. Schreiber Playground which is being constructed in Holy Angels school yard is a worthwhile venture and also a community project and help is urgently needed to get this in full operation. This playground will en able all children in Schreiber to have some recrea- tion and should indeed have the full support of this community. So all able bodied people come out and help. Laureen Kusik is taking a five week summer coursé in Modelling at Thunder Bay. continued page 14 ....... :
