A major feature of the Amendment ex- tends subdivision control and part-lot control over all lands in Ontario. This measure is designed to encourage the orderly use of lands and to help our communities meet land-use requirements for education, housing, pollution and other purposes. Mr. D. Jones proposed the toast to the couple and Rev. Prinselaar said Grace. Mrs. Louise Corbett was a special guest. Bob Smith a son, read a letter from the family expressing their gratitude and appreciation to their parents, for everything they had done for them over the years. Also he read telegrams from Pierre Elliot Trudeau, Prime Minister; George Pelletier, Secretary of State; Hon. John Robarts and Paul Martin, Keith Penner, and many more. A plaque was presented from the Province of Ontario. 'Following the dinner party a reception was held and Mr. and Mrs. Smith received the guests.
