Marsh of Thunder Bay (S), friends from Terrace Bay, Dryden, Wisconsin and Thunder Bay attended and messages were received from a son in California, from Mr. and Mrs. A. Lindskoog of Rockford, I!!. and from A toast to Mr. and Mrs. Marsh was propsed by their son Bill, and many beautiful gifts were pre- sented. A cake, the gift of Mr. and Mrs. J. Phillips was decorated with sugar bells, trimmed with traditional "Ruby" and supper was served from a table centred with an arrangement of baby mums and tinted Car- nations which were later given to Mr. and Mrs. Marsh.. Assisting in serving the guests were Mrs. Sandra Marsh, Mrs. Avis Marsh and Miss Marilyn Marsh . Sympathy is extended to Mr. C. Linton of Terrace Bay on the death of his mother. Mr. and Mrs. Linton attended the funeral which was held in Kirkland Lake on April 23rd. The members of the Terrace Bay Library Board met with members of the Northwestern Regional Library Board, at the Recreation Centre on Saturday morning. The chairman was Mr. Bob Shipston and the meeting included representatives from Manitouwadge Nipigon, Atikokan, Thunder Bay, Mrs. McGuire, Schreiber Library Board Chairman and a former Principal of the Terrace Bay Public School, and Mr. C. Smith who now resides in Kenora. An interesting discussion was held on issues and problems of the local library and what help can be provided by the Northwestern Regional Library Board. Coffee was served at the close of the meeting. :
