What about some type of learning seminar or conference dealing with relevant community issues or concerns? Is there some type of physically-oriented programme you feel a good number of people might participate in? Inasmuch as the Recreation Department attempts to assess the interests in the community and offer programmes that are interesting to the people, the Recreation Department still requires some co-oper- ation from you -- the citizens of our town. RINGETTE TOURNAMENTS VERY SUCCESSFUL On Tuesday, March 24th, a total of thirty girls took part in a six-team tournament in Manitouwadge . The Blues from Manitouwadge took the champion- ship event and the Ringers from Terrace Bay took the consolation event. The following drivers are to be thanked for their co-operation in transporting our girls to Manitou~ wadge: Mr. D. Desrosiers, Miss E. Hayes, Mr. B. Wallwin, Mr. B. Stachiw and Mrs. J. Taylor. On Thursday, March 26th the Terrace Bay Ringette League returned the tournament and this | time saw the Blues from Manitouwadge take the chamionship event and the Ringers from Terrace Bay take the consolation event.
