NEW GARBAGE PACKER IN OPERATION The garbage packer recently purchased by the town has proved most satisfactory, a budget-saver in both time and money. The men are relieved of the task of lifting the garbage, sometimes in very heavy cans, to the height of the dump truck formerly used, and the speedier collection with the use of the packer has reduced the staff by one. The time element also gives the men time during the week to work on other projects for the town. Photo next column - New Garbage Packer. Photo by |. McCuaig.
