Skaters ranging from un parent approval) to over seventy (our esteemed Reeve W.E. Cavanaugh) and of both sexes all appeared on the ice and, with promised financial return from var~ ious sponsors, helped along the cause of Junior Hockey in Terrace Bay. During the thirty hour grind the number of original skaters dwindled but others entered until the final count of entrants reached a total of 199. As we go to press the Hockey Club were unable to provide us with the total amount of money raised by the project but it is expected to be in the neighbor- hood of $1800. At the end of the thirty hours only seven contest- ants were still on the ice, tired bdg.game. These were: Dawn Desaulniers, Tara Greenwoad,, Paulette Coupal, Tina Yates, Anita Stuart, Grayden Fedorak, Pat Papineau.
