TEACHERS' FEDERATI@N HOLD FALL DINNER The Lake Superior Association,Federation of Women Teachers' of Ontario held their Fall Dinner meeting in St. Andrew's Church hall in Schreiber with Mrs. Ruth Foster, executive assistant from Toronto, special guest. Miss Gwen Hadley conducted the business meeting which followed the dinner with Miss Edith Clemens as secretary-treasurer . Miss Lorraine Gurba of Marathon was elected to the Board-Teachers' Relations committee. Miss Susan Stopyra, Schreiber gave the Goodwill report. Mrs. Shirley Mikus of Terrace Bay reported on her work as liason officer for the Economic Policy com- mittee. Miss Wendy McEwen, Schreiber and Miss Brenda Langille and Miss Molly Harris, of Terrace Bay were named as representatives to the First Year TERRACE BAY NEWS NOVEMBER 13, 1969 Teachers' Invitational Conference to be held on January 17th and 18th in Toronto. Mary Eileen Muff, Craft Consultant of the Depart- ment of Education, Youth and Recreation Branch and Margaret Phillips, District Consultant, met with a group of women in the Catholic Parish centre, in an effort to establish a craft group in Schreiber.
