President Mrs. D. Ballentine opened the meeting. Secretary Mrs. C. Mercier read the minutes of the las general and executive meetings. It was agreed that notice of the date for the next meetings should be placed in the local paper. The Rememberance Day Banquet will be held November 8th, and the Poppy Day. Tea on November 11th. Correspondence was read by the secretary . The treasurers report was given by Mrs. P. Jones, and a motion made to pay all outstanding accounts . Mrs. J. Daley gave her report on sick and visiting as well as sympathy cards mailed. It was decided to carry on with the Bursary Plaque for another year. Any ladies interested in bowling with the Legion Team in the afternoon or evening are asked to con- tact Mrs. P. Coupal or Mrs. R.
