SEPTEMBER 11, 1969 TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN Within the next few weeks Guides and Brow- nies will resume their weekly meetings . There are 56 Guides and'one leader. ~ Unless more leaders can be found the Guide Companies will have to be disbanded. Interested ladies who wish to help the local Guides are most welcome | No experience is neces- sary and training 'is available. Call 3210 S. Caron; or 3307 C. Cvitkovich for further information. FALL SEASON OPENED The Ladies Auxiliary of the Terrace Bay Com- munity Church opened the fall season with a Dessert and Coffee, and Conversation party pre- ceding the regular-meet- ing. With colorful cand- les and bright orange place mats'en the tables, it resembled a real cof-' fee house. Orange nasturtiums were-used as a centerpiece on the head table. Mrs. Gertrude Soughton was in charge of the arrange- ments, and Mrs. Slomke and Mrs. Chisholm provided the delightful desserts . Mrs. Soughton introduced the program, which consisted of the singing of some old familiar hyms, as well as new ones.
