Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Ferland and their family have returned from a holiday spent with relations in Quebec City. . Mr. and Mrs. Henry Nolan of London are visiting Mr. and Mrs. Joe Campbell and other relations. Father Epoch will arrive next week from Midland to take charge of Holy Angel's parish while Father Cano is on holidays. Schreiber has become almost a second home for Father Epoch, this being the 11th summer he has been here. Mr. and Mrs. Dick Stinson of Regina visited old friends here last week. Mr. and Mrs. Lon Harris of Chapleau are with Mr. and Mrs. Jack McCouan, visiting also other relatives in town. Sister Louis Joseph, of St. Joseph's Hospital, Port Arthur, spent last week in St. Joseph's convent in Schreiber, visiting many old friends. Mrs. Ann Etches, after a round of family visits in Montreal went with her mother, Mrs. E.A. Way- | well and her sister Mrs. Lil Kells for a vacation in Miami, Fla. On her way home Mrs. Etches will visit in North Bay with Mr. and Mrs. William Etches . TEA HONOURS MRS. JACK RATTRAY Mrs. Jack Rattray, who has left Schreiber for a new home in Sudbury, was honored at a tea arranged in the United Church hall on Wednesday afternoon. The tea was poured by Mrs. Hubert Weaver - sister-in-law and Mrs. Russell McBride, Mrs. George Gordon - sister, and Mrs. David Nesbitt. The servitors were Mesdames Bill Gerow, Russell Macadam, Con Duggan, Jack Anderson and C.E. Mrs. Albert Morris presented a set of wall pla ques from Grace Baptist Church, and Mrs. Wesley Clemens presented a cut glass bud vase from the United Church Women. As a tribute to Mrs. Rattray's skill at all kinds of needlework, Mrs. Con Duggan had made a special cake for the occasion in the shape of a sewing basket, the edge of the cake and the lid holding needles, thread, tape measure and thimble.
