Another of the bride's sisters, Eileen, was Flower Girl. They wore identical long gowns made of Orange Ice Frosted Peau de Charme in Princess style with short sleeves. White Daisy chain accented the front and back panels, the necklines and sleeves. Headdresses were made of white chrysanthemums, lily-of-the valley and green leaves. They carried nosegays of white mums tinted with orange centers. Best man was Francis Helmink and ushers were Bob Wallwin Jr., Brian McInnes and Leonard Artist. Receiving ata reception held in the Moose Hall the brides' mother wore.a Turquoise lace sheath under a matching lace coat which had a Mandarin collar. Her hat and accessories were in white and she wore a white carnation corsage. The groom's mother also received wearing a white A-line Crimplene dress with red lace coat; white hat and accessories and white carnation corsage. Geoge Dakin was Master of Ceremonies and the Toast to the bride was proposed by Ron Dakin. Joan and Joyce Belliveau served the wedding cake. Leaving for a trip to Niagara the bride wore a three piece blue wool knit ensemble with beige accessories and corsage of yellow_carnation and roses . We would like to think that our programmes this year were different and interesting. For the fist time, we were able to expose the children to Batik, non-looming Weaving Chess, Checkers, Dominoes, Monopoly, plus various sports and active games. With this type of programme, it was our intention to assist with the total development of the person by drawing out the introvert, developing creativity through the various forms of art, teaching and developing various sports skills that have carryover values into later years. These are not all of the activities 2: which were conducted in our summer program ; there were others of equal value such as hikes, singing and creative dramatics, which played a very meaningful role in the development and education of leisure-time activity.
