On June 22, the collection plates will be passed ' and those present will be asked to take money out ' instead of paying it in. Those who take money are i; expected to make ii turn a profit for the church. The thought is based on the "parable of the talents ' in the Book of St, Matthew the master gave his ser- | vants some talents and they in turn used the money, each in his own way, reaped as he had sown, It is hoped that each wil! make the money grow | through the next six months and return it with their profits next December 7th. This Sunday will be the i8th anniversary of the church. Individuals and families will plan projects and ways and means of | making their gift grow for the church. On behalf of the sponsors, the Ladies Auxiliary of the Terrace Bay Community Church, Mrs. Connie Cvitkovich welcomed both the group and those at- tending .the performance and thanked all who helped to promote the project. Accompanist Miss Mary Rekszynski gave a resume of the group's history and objectives and explained the significance of the colorful costumes. She also mentioned the various prizes won by the group. One of our favorites on the diversified program was a sextet of young misses whose sweet voices blended in haunting harmoney in four selections.
