Youth must be given its chance! Nothing is too good for our kids! Every facility must be provided to give our children a better education! And finally "we will, no matter what the cost, provide our students with every opportunity to secure a better education." These remarks were all made at meet- ings held in Terrace Bay to discuss proposed expan- sion of the High School. They weren't original remarks - just extensions of what the present genera- tion of adults have heard, read and "grown up with! Also, they are what most parents say to themselves. It's human nature to want to give our children, at least as good and, if possible, better than we had ourselves . The students and staff of Terrace Bay High School unveiled to the public last Wednesday afternoon and evening, their new premises. Continued page 2..... - IS TERRACE BAY NEWS the District The Right Way The Safe Way June 12 1969 KLEENEX TISSUE MILL TO BE BUILT Huntsville June 10th - G.L. Carruthers, President of Kimberly-Clark of Canada Limited and associated companies announced here today that the Company plans to-build a large Kleenex tissue mill adjacent to the Town of Huntsville in the Muskoka region. Huntsville is located about 135 miles north of Toronto. The mill will be built on a 300 acre parcel of land in Chaffey Township. It will be the Com- pany's largest tissue plant in Canada and will produce tissue for use in the full range of the Company's sanitary products, 'particularly in the production of Kleenex facial tissues, Kleenex towels and Delsey Bathroom tissue . Estimate cost of the mill is excess of $20 million. It will employ approximately 90 persons, most of whom will be drawn from the surrounding area. Site preparations will commence by September 1 of this year and the mill will be ready for start-up Continued page 13 .....
