Following the meeting a dinner was held in Moun- tainview Motel and later a social evening in the home of Mr. and Mrs. W.G. Furlonger. ROSSPORT TRACK AND FIELD MEET Rossport Public School held their annual track and field meet on the school grounds with races, jumps and novelty contests. Mesdames Kay Bouch- ard, Prina Gerow and Violet Goodchild were cash- iers for various events. Teacher Mrs. Mildred Price was judge assisted by students Raymond Goodchild, Larry Paradis and Walter Schroeder. Announcer was Mrs. Anne Todesco. Each child received treats. ALTAR SOCIETY The last meeting of the St. Berchman's Altar Society before summer recess, was held Thursday evening at Mrs. Felix Legault's home.
