There will be several bodies of water formed by the Spring run-off. However, they feel that it is not too much to ask the parents of all children to warn them of this dan- ger. They point out that we have never had a drown- ing in the past four years and urge all to try and main tain this record. It is not a pleasant task for the -- Police to have to notify the parents of their child having been drowned. Toronto, Ontario.- bLloyd Hemsworth, vice-presi- dent of industrial relations, Kimberly-Clark of Canada Limited, Toronto, has announced the following ap- pointments: - E.J.Brady will become manager of labour rela- tions for the company. In this capacity he will be responsible for labour relations and contract negotia- tions for the Canadian woodlands and mill operations of Kimberly-Clark of Canada Limited, Kimberly-Clark Pulp and Paper Company Limited, and Spruce Falls Power and Paper Company Limited. Until his new appointment, Mr. Brady served for nine years as superintendent of industrial relations, Spruce Falls Power and Paper Co.Ltd., Kapuskasing and, during the last four years of that period, was involved in both mill and woodlands operations. He joined the Kimberly-Clark organization in 1946 after completing the industrial relations course at Queen's University, Kingston, and served in various capaci- ties in this field at the Terrace Bay mill until 1960 when he was transferred to Kapuskasing. In addition to serving on a number of community organizations, he has also been active in the indus- trial relations séction of the Canadian Pulp and Paper Association, the task committees of the Ontario Forest Industries Association, and is a Board member of the Loggers Trust. During World War II, he served with the Canadian Army's Ist Division in France, Italy and Germany. He held the rank of major and was awarded the DSO and CD decorations.
