The crackers, bubble gum and - balloon blowing contests were fun for both partic- ipants and onlookers. This year a 'Mr. Sexy Legs' and ' Mr. Irrisistable Contests were added to the list and it was found that George Daskewytch had the sexiest legs while Bob Broadhurst was the most irresistable. Kangaroo Court this year was more fun than ever. All the teachers and students involved took their punishments good naturedly and in doing so provided great entertain - ment for the students. Our Carnival King Joe Papin- eau and Queen Sonja Stoyko were chosen from the winning house league. Friday evening the Students' Council held their annual Chili Supper and again the Yearbook held another successful Country Fair. The rug was drawn for and the winner was D. Mushquash of Rossport . Our Carnival Dance Saturday night was c hit as the students danced to the sound of the Soul Kitchen. The sale of tickets on the painting to be drawn on the 31st of March, and now on display in the window of the Credit Union office. Tickets are available fromany of the J Art Club members. Members were urged to attend they" Art Workshop in Nipigon on the 2ist,22nd, and 23rd 4 of March. This was originally scheduled for Terrace J} Bay but was cancelled. Suggested reasons for cancel4 ation were discussed. Members to be contacted re- j garding regular work session next Thursday night and asked to bring what materials they wish to work with.
