Invited guests included Brownies from Terrace Bay First Pack and their leaders. Mothers of the twenies being enrolled. The four girls entered the room walk- ed up the lighted path flanked with Brownies on eith- er side to the toodstool thus crossing the Magic River to Brownie land. The girls saw themselves in the looking glass and recited the Brownie Law and Prom- ise and received their Brownie Pin and Certificate. from Towny Owl Cadieux and Brown Owl Thompson. Once enrolled the girls were asked to join the Brownie Ring for the first time and then the regular meeting was conducted and games enjoyed. Presentation of the Badges were made by Guider 'Ann McKie to Norma Jean Phillips - jester, Cathy Belliveau - writer, Kelly McKie - skater. First year service pins were awarded to Laurie MCBride, Jody 'McKie, Dawn McBride, Louise Desrosier, Melody Fisher. Second year service pin - Cherly Dejonghe This award is given to Brownies attending 75% of the meetings during the year. Stars of the show were as usual our own home grown talent; Jackie Turner, Rosemary Pattison, Joan Belliveau and Jamie and Panela Cumming. Miss Jennifer Skinner is to be congratulated and a large note of thanks should go to the people behind the scenes who created the costumes and helped in so many ways to present a wonderful ice show. Out of town guests were Katherine Campbell, Susa Jacabson and Terry Delaronde. LADIES AUXILLIARY The Ladies Auxilliary met Monday evening in the Community Church with thirteen ladies present. The meeting opened with president C. Slomke in the chair President Slomke gave a few words in prayer and then welcomed the ladies. Worship was lead by Mrs. Coe and Ann Anderson. Mrs. Hodgkiss accompanied piano for Hymn. Minutes were read by Secretary Mrs. Wise and accepted correct as read by President Slomke. Treasureres report read and a bank account has beenf set up for the manse fund. A motion from the floor to pay outstanding bills was accepted. Correspondence An appeal from the Cancer Society received and the ladies agreed to send $20.00 to a worthy cause. Rem- inder that Ladies World Day of Prayer will be held Friday March 7 at 2.30 p.m. All ladies welcome to the Community Church and their is baby sitting avai- lable. Many thank you notes and appreciation notes acknowledged. Our first monthly subscription of Parent Talk has arrived. This Sunday their is to be a special luncheon fe some of the church workers and it was asked whether some of the auxilliary members could help this was taken care of by the end of the meeting. It was said that the Rev. Walton Tong will be in Canada soon and wil! be at our church the Ist Monday(cont'd page 5) ICE FROLICS OF 1969 Ice Frolics of 1969 presented a sparkling revue with beautiful costumes and lively routines. Right from the beginners through the inter-mediate groups to the older, more experienced skaters it was a delight to every one.
