G Heikkila Worship Service - first Sunday each month - 7 DeMe Music lovers from Terrace Bay and Schreiber were treated to a delightful evening when members of the Terrace Bay Concert Band presented their annual Fanfare Night at the High School Auditorium. Under the direction of Mrs. Ellen Hodkiss, the band played selections to suit every taste. Jim McDonald was a very capable Master of Ceremonies. Of particular interest was the story he told the chil- dren in the audience, about the witches and goblins and the gostly dance, before the band played Danse Macabre. Along with three toe-tapping Tijuana Brass numbers, selections from the Sound of Music, and a Sousa March, they presented a varied and well paced program. Miss JoAnne Brown was the first guest artist. Her two solos, accompanied by Mrs. Hodgkiss and Bill Farrell, with the rythym band section, were well received by an enthusiastic audience. After intermission, the Chorus, with Mrs. Marilyn Chisholm at the piano, and led by Mr. Bert Lohr, sang'four numbers, in their own inimitable style. Among the audience that night was a former mem- ber of the Terrace Bay Band, Mr. Bill Colborne, and his daughter Jane, of Port Arthur.
