Remember this week's safety slogan: STOP ACCIDENTS - PREVENT INJURIES TERRACE BAY HIGH SCHOOL BOARD HOLDS P UBLIC MEETING On Monday, the Terrace Bay High School Board held a pub}ic meeting for the purpose of acquaint- ing residents with details of the proposed expans- ion of the High School curiculum and facilities in Terrace Bay. Sketch plans, and an artist's render- ing of the enlarged school were on display. The Board chairman, W.J. Farrell opened the meeting and then outlined Board policy that had influenced decisions concerning the expansion program. These policies: required the Board to be alert to changing cércumstances in Secondary School education, and to act diligently on all re- commendations received from the Department of Education. Mr. Farrell referred to Department of Education recoomendations made in 1963 and 1966 for an expanded educational program in Terrace Bay. The creation of a working agreement between Sch- reiber and Terrace Bay last spring (see Page 10)
