Mr. & Mrs. Rene Gaudet were in town over the week-end staying at the home of Mr. & Mrs. L. Duquette. Rene bagged his moose before returning home. Mr. Gordon Kydd, now of Renfrew, Ontario, was here last week on business . COMMUNITY SHOCKED BY DEATH OF LONG TIME RESIDENT District residents were shocked last week to learn of the sudden death of Mrs. Linnea Steen, wife of John Steen of Terrace Bay. A respected resident here for seventeen years, Mrs. Steen had been active in the affairs of the community and her church, Terrace Bay Community Church. Mrs. Steen died unexpectedly in a Port Arthur hospital on Wednesday, September 27th. Funeral services were held in Port Arthur at.10.45 a.m. on Saturday, where Mrs. Steen was born and has many surviving relatives. SCHREIBER ST. JOHN'S ANGLICAN CHURCH - Rev.
