Following these presentations Kristine Chepelsky modelled a "badge scarf" , a new addition to Guide uniforms. Worn diagonally from right shoulder to left hip, the scarf will proudly display proficiency badges, thus eliminating the necessity of removing the badges from the uniform sleeve each time it is laundered. Made of similar material to the uniform it will form a complete ensemble. Canada's Centennial has also touched the Girl Guides. Small Centennial badges may be purchased and worn on the uniform during 1967. This is proving very popular with local guides.
