The winners were Murray Clark, Neil' Bottomley, John Benko, Bruce McBride and Paul Sodaro. On December 7 a Millwright suffered a broken ankle while working at the jackladder. This was the 7th lost time disabling injury experienced since the start of the EXPO'67 program. As the plant safety objective has been broken the EXPO '67 award has been cancelled. However, the weekly safety slogan program will continue until further notice. Ever stop to think what it costs to be injured. Every accident resulting in injuries cost money. Compensation payments do not equal your normal earnings. Ten? This could be taken as a measure of changes that have taken place between that much simpler period of the country's history and the Centennial Year. Even the word Dominion is rarely heard today. - from THE PRINTED WORD.
