As part of its plans to commemorate Canada's Centennial, Texaco Canada Limited announces the establishment of a continuing university scholarship program open to children of its employees across the country. In making the announcement, Frank M.Dawson, President, said "The first scholarships will be awarded for the current 1966-67 academic year, and up to 20 winners each year will be selected from applicants with high academic standing at completion of secondary school." The new scholarships program supplements Texaco's existing employee benefit plans and its financial support of higher education. Something very nice happened to 'ye old editor' last night.
