December 8, 1966 DAYLIGHT SAVING OUT IN SCHREIBER The percentage of eligible voters who filled in ballots during Monday's election was down - only about 5% - but those who did vote gave a resounding NO to Daylight Saving Time - 30I against and 94 for. Joseph Caccamo, by virtue of a 291 vote will serve a two year term on Council, while Harold Fischer with 222 votes will serve a one year term. Only two votes separated Fischer and Don Beno, the third candidate. Reeve F.V.Harness was returned by acclamation as was councillor H. McParland. Both will serve for two year terms. R.B. Spadoni has another year to serve on Council. St. John's Ambulance brigade is presently carrying on their first house to house canvas and it is hoped there will be a good response.
