CANDIDATES WELCOMED IN TO MOOSE LODGE Friday evening the degree team of the Moose Lodge number 1752 of Terrace Bay enrolled five candidates into their Defending Circle. The new members are Jack E.Stokes, Ronald Piche, Peter Ukrainic, Marcel Lalonde, and Lional LaLonde, all of Schreiber. The degree team consist- ed of Past Governor Murray Dorman, Jr.Governor Edward Belliveau, Prelate Joseph Dejonghe, Orator John Power and Sergeant at Arms Gordon Calder. Following enrol- rrent the ladies were guests and a social evening with dancing was enjoyed to Fred McColman's orch- estra. Luncheon was served by Anna Kushnieryk and her committee. Cabbage rolls, cold cuts and salads were served. This evening was a double celebration as there are 38 members of the lodge whose birthdays are in November. A decorated birthday cake was cut by John Kuzma. It was noticeable that not too many of the older members were present and were missed. Master of Cere- monies and convenor of the enter- tainment, Bill Kushnieryk mentioned in his address that he hoped more of the older members would turn out for the next event and he welcomed Charles Todesco, eldest in years if not in membership, who was present.
