RECREATION BRIEFS - by Buck TERRACE BAY MIDGETS WIN OPENER - In the first game of the season, Terrace Bay Midgets, upset Manitouwadge by an 8-4 score. Larry Sitko paced the} attack for Terrace Bay with four goals. Joe Papineau counted two goals and singles went to Paul Papousek and Gordon Phillips. 'Scoring for Manitouwadge were D.Godin with two and single markers from R.McLeod and J.Murphy. Referee F .Sechesky called a total of seven minor penalties. Begin in the Manitouwadge net made 32 saves while B.Moores in the Terrace Bay net made 23 saves. This was the first game for the Terrace Bay Midgets and a day before the game had only been on the ice for one hour, this is a good indication of the calibre of players we have in this category. FIGURE SKATING - Registration for Figure Skating on Saturday, Nov.26 in the Recreation Centre Lounge between the hours of 2.00 - 4.00 p.m. Forms will be distributed early this week for registration. Please complete the form and return on Saturday during registration time. BALLET REGISTRATION - Ballet. classes will commence on Sunday, Nov.27 at 2.00 p.m. in the large meeting room. All other classes will be held on Saturday afternoon. We still have openings for girls who are interested in Ballet or Tap dancing lessons. You may register on Sunday, Nov.27. We cordially invite the mothers to attend the first introductory class. ANN UAL KIMBERLY-CLARK CHRISTMAS PARTY - Mill Manager, J.Ferrier, has announced that Kimberly-Clark will hold the annual Christmas party on Saturday, December 17.
