TERRACE BAY NEWS November 17, 1966 Graduates of the Kimberly-Clark Trades Training Program 1966 are, left to right, kneeling - Per Frederiksen, Emil Boucher and Lorne O'Neil. TRADE GRADUATES HONOURED On November 3rd fourteen employees of the Kimberly-Clark Pulp and Paper Company Ltd., Terrace Bay, Ontario were honoured at a Graduation Dinner at the Terrace Bay Motor Hotel. The employees are graduates of the in-service Company Trades Training program. This was the largest number of graduates to be so honoured at one time since the training program was initiated in |950. Graduates of the train ing program were George Churney and Cliff Knauff, Jr., Instrument Mechanic; Alan MacFadyen and Roaul Fournier, Electricians; Stewart Reid, Per Frederiksen, George Rouhiainen, Lorne O'Neil and Ralph Cole, Pipefitters; Emil Boucher, Arnold Littlefield, Joe Dejonghe, Leslie TURKEY AND CASH! 10 BINGOS - - $5.00 CASH 10 BINGOS - - 10 LB. Trades Training Co-ordinator, Mr. Reg Payette, was Master of Ceremonies for the occasion. Mr. Payette briefly outlined the history of the Kimberly- Clark Trades Training Program noting that with this class, 56 tradesmen have graduated, consisting of 12 Electricians, 6 Instrument Mechanics, |7 Pipe- fitters, 15 Millwrights, 4 Machinists and 2 Tinsmiths. At present 12 employees are participating in this program. Mr. J.C.Wig, Vice President and General Manager, who initiated the Trades Training Program in 1950 was present to congratulate and present the graduates with their certificates.
