COUNCIL QUOTES A petition from a number of taxpayers was read at a recent Council meeting held in the town office with Reeve Adamo presiding and Councillors Sinotte, Desrosiers and Kurylo present. The petitioners, resi- dents of Drew Avenue, requested that landscaping begun in 1965 be completed. Council agreed that the work must be finished and planned that, should the weather be suitable, this would be done. It was bad weather that put a stop to landscaping operations last year. Reference was made to a letter of complaint re- ceived at the end of May regarding the manner in continued page 2 ...
