FORESTS GREEN THE NEWS Page 11 SEA CADEIS & WRENETTES INSPECTED The annual inspection of Sea Cadets and Wren- ettes of R.C.S.C.C.Superior took place Sunday, May 8th in the Terrace Bay Arena. The inspecting officers were headed by Comman- der D.E.Binmore, R.C.N.R., Commanding Officer of H.M.C.S.Griffon. Accompanying him were Lieutenant-Commander Toombs, R.C.N. Staff Officer, H.M.C.S.Griffon, Lieutenant J.Haigh, Commanding Officer R.S.C.S.S.Admiral Craddock, Fort William, Lieutenant Foston, R.C.N. Assistant Area Officer for Ontario and Lieutenant L.Lund- berg, also of the Admiral Craddock. The visiting officers were accompanied by their wives and families. Music was supplied by members of the R.S.C.C. S. Vindictive, Port Arthur, under the direction of Lt.Tal Morgan. Commander Binmore was piped aboard by Cadet Dennis Levique. Following the inspection and march past presen- tations were made by Commander Binmore, R.C.N. R. The Fred Soughton Jewellers Trophy for the most efficient Wrenette was presented to Pamela Cumming. The R.C.S.C.C.Vindictive - Admiral Craddock Trophy was presented to Robin Hart as best Sea Cadet. lan O'Neil received the Rev.T. G .Husser Trophy for best new entry. Ship's quarters were inspected and the ship's company carried on to classes where they were again inspected. N.B. - The official designation of the Wrenettes is The Princess Royal Corps.
