Hopper presiding. Rev. T.G.Husser accompanied the opening hymn and Mrs.Hopper read a prayer and a story. Minutes and correspondence were read by Mrs. J.Schritt and the monthly and annual treasurer's report were given by Mrs. K.Turner. Reports were given by Mrs. F.Sweet (Sick & Visiting), Mrs. E.Haughn (Property) and Mrs. A.Farrow (Altar Guild). Mrs. C.Slomke announced that a Work Shop will be held at St.Paul's United Church in Port Arthur and that all ladies from the North Shore would be welcome to attend. A panel discussion will be held at the March meeting with Very Rev .Father Gallagher as guest and the members of the Catholic Women's League are invited to attend. The World Day of Prayer will be held on Feb. 25th at 4 p.m. at which time the members of the C.G.1.T. will be in charge and the ladies and girls of St.Martin's Catholic Church are asked to take part. Kurylo with Mrs. H.Lohr and Mrs. H.Heibert - - Sick & Visiting, Mrs. S.Lundberg - Property, Mrs. D.Thompson, - Program, Mrs. C.Slomke with Mrs. M.Chisholm, Mrs. W.Farrell, Mrs. D.Gorham, Mrs. A.Smith and Mrs. J.Schritt. Publicity Con- venor is Mrs. F. Tees - Membership convenor is Mrs. A.Sinkins with Mrs. D.Wilson - the new Altar committee is Mrs. D.Almos, Mrs. D.Evans- Smith and Mrs. R.Hansen and Mrs.V.Hopper and Mrs .H.Coe are in charge of the Manse committee. Lunch convenor will be Mrs. R.Stevens with the ladies alternating each month. Rev. Husser closed the meeting with a prayer and lunch was served by Mrs. R.Stevens. The Afternoon Branch of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Community Church will meet at 1.45 P.M. on . Monday, February 21st in the Church. An estimated 10 million people will visit Expo, spending an average of three days on the grounds.
