Cocks, Fred Eick- meier, Ted Wilson, Steve Morrill, to Lakehead UNiversity; Donna Eaton to Toronto University; Doran Dragero to Ryerson Institute of Technology; Miss Sandy Kragero returning to teach in Scarboro Public School; Marlene Jarva, Jim Lesauvage and John Cosgrove to Waterloo University, Patricia McParland, who has completed one year of student nurse's training, will attend High School in North Bay taking Grade 13; Danny Riley is going to Dag Hammerskjold; Shirley Jartus and Paddy Duggan to Hillcrest; Paula Hill, Carl Pearson and Jack McGrath to Selkirk, all inleshed Schools. 1965 FUNERAL RITES CONDUCTED FOR JEAN FOURNIER The funeral of Jean Baptiste Fournier whose death occured on September 3rd following a lengthy illness, was conducted in Holy Angles Roman Catholic Church on September 6th by Rev. J.M. Cano. Ushers were Joe Commisso, Sanford Chicoine. Honourary Pall Bearers were: Tom Bolan, H.P. Bourguignon, Euclid Morin, Gonzique Slater, Eugene Ouellette and Cyril Sparkes and Active Pall Bearers were: Leo Godin, Alex Furyk and four grandsons of the deceased, Roger Fournier, Brian Webb, John McParland and Lawrence Singleton. Burial was in the Schreiber Cemetery. The Rosary was said by the parish and the Catholic Women's League in the Gauley Funeral Home on Sunday. Mr. Fournier, who was 74 years old,was born in Rimouski, Quebec, coming to Schreiber fifty-five years ago. He had fourty-three years service with the C.P.R., when he retired as a bridge and building foreman in 1955. Survived by his wife the former Roseanna Des' Champlain, four sons, Robert of Schreiber, Herve' of Ottawa, Raoul of Terrace Bay and Henry of Toronto five daughters, Yvonne, (Mrs. Tom Webb), Simone (Mrs. Edward Singleton), Laurette, (Mrs. Harold McParland), of Schreiber, Rita, (Mrs. R. Herring ) of Dartmouth N.S. and Margaret , (Mrs. Morris Scraba) of Schreiber. Also fourty-three grandchildre five great grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. A. Coté of Rimouski. Melvin Davis of Ottawa is getting in a little late fishing and visiting his brother and sister Ken Davis and Mrs .Bill Lidkea and their families. Visiting during the summer with Mr.and Mrs.Keith School were Mrs .Scott's sister Elizabeth (Mrs .Robt. Duncan) and son Dugald of Tayport, Scotland, Mrs. Mary Murphy and son Eddy of Hamilton, Scotland and Mrs.Nancy Pate of High Blantyre, Scotland. Mrs .lva D'Arcy and Miss Mildred D"Arcy spent their holidays with Earl D'Arcy and his daughter Judy in Toronto. Mr .and Mrs .Ross Greenwood of Toronto visited with the latter's par ents, Mr.and Mrs .Jack Rattray, and the latter accompanied them back to Toronto. Mrs .Lawrence Shallow and family of Red Rock visited her mother, Mrs.S.Cash and her sisters, Mrs. C .Perras and Mrs .Robin Moore. Miss Catriona Foster of Ottawa was the guest of her sister, Mrs.Bill Woodrow. Mr.and Mrs .Roland Ritchie of Ottawa have arrived for Mr .Ritchie to take his place on the staff of the High School . Mrs.Ted Wilson is back from Vancouver where she spent the summer with nieces and nephews. Mrs.Wesley Clemens, daughter Sandra and Muriel Nesbitt accompanied Edith Clemens home from Toron to where the latter had received medical treatment. Raymond Cheboyer of Little Long Rapids spent the weekend with his sister, Mrs.Garth Woods and her family, returning Danny Woods who had spent three weeks with Mr.and Mrs.Cheboyer. Gordon Pike who has been with Chapples staff the past year is returning to Fort William and will enroll at Lakehead University.
