Pictured below in the wagon is one of the two original drivers, Cecil Rivers of Calgary, and stand- ing is Bill Stiff of Fort William who joined the out- fit at the Lakehead. With Bill is his wife Ann who accompanied him as far as Terrace Bay. Cecil and his partner started their journey April 5th from Cal- gary and anticipate having Christmas in Halifax. Much material has already been procured on the way towards the writing of books and films. A bouffant four-tier veil of silk illusion was caught to a silk organza rosette headpiece and she carried a cascade bouquet of white gladioluses and lily of the valley. A strand of pearls, gift of the bridegroom, come pleted her ensemble. Miss Joyce Graham, maid of 'honor, wore a sea green chiffon over organza gown with three- quarter length sleeves, slit skirt and an empire bodice finished by a narrow bow in front and a wide bow accenting the deep- ly squared neckline in back. A band of matching organza held her circular veil and she carried a colonial bouquet of white shasta daisies: Danny and Donna Gellert, twin cousins of the bride, were ring bearer and flower girl.
