Page 4 THE MEN'S CHORUS (Continued from page 2) Mr .Neil Corhtwaite, the listeners were greeted with 'Salutation' theme song of the Associated Male Choruses of American before the curtain rose to reveal the Chorus in formal attire to give their first group of selections. Local talent forms a part of each year's program and this spring their guest performers were a Folk Dancing Group under the direction of Bonnie Hamil- ton. Originated as a group of Highschool girls they are: Beth Hopper, Elaine Rajotte, Evelyn Rajotte, Marcia Hamilton, Stephanie Synishin, Annette Belliveau, Jane West, Cathy Phillips, Jill Crandlemire, Virginia Pineault, Molly Harris, Linda Hayes, Shirley Phillips, Deborah Boyd, Elizabeth O'Javee and Bonnie Hamilton. Four national dances were excellently presented. Scene of the second group of songs was a typical English Pub during the war when, seated around tables and with Barmaid Karen Moore in attendance, the men raised their glasses high and sang. Melodies of Stephen Foster were featured in the last half of the program. Comprising the Chorus this year are: J.Carty, H.Coe, R.Mitchell, F. Sechesky, J.Bird, F.Gould, A.Hartman, K.Lerner, N.McCuaig, A.Almos, J.Ferrier, D.Hersey, D. Lohr, C.Buck, R.Harris, M.McCausland, A. Pattison and J.Terpstra. LADIES FASTBALL We have received over 30 registrations for Ladies Fastball for this season and a league will be organ- ized by next week. The only disappointment is that there are only five ladies who have registered to play while th e rest of the ladies are all young highschool and public school girls. We would wel- come any other ladies to play fastball this season. A 65 Renault it Seems...
