Mrs. Betty Turner recorded and the financial statement was read by Mrs.Alice Farrow. Discussing the Polly Lake Training Camp, it was decided the Association would pay registration, trans portation and babysitting, where required, for Guid- ers attending. A motion was passed to send an annual donation of $25.00 to the Polly Lake Camp Commit- tee. A volunteer will drive a work party of men to Polly Lake before camp is opened. Mrs.Mikus ex- | plained the many plans for improvement made by the Committee. In the absence of the Cookie Day Convenor, a report was given. Complaints had been lodged and a courteous note from the manufacturer promised in- vestigation. Brownie registration was reported by Mr .lrene Kettle and Publicity, Mrs.Gertrude Cotton. Mrs.Marg Simmer, Badge Secretary, reported thirty- | three tests successfully passed and many more in the process. Ways and Means Convenor Mrs .Hilda Hiebert thanked all who assisted and contributed to the Easter Bake Sale. Her co-convenor is leaving in. June and assistance will be required for further pro- jects. Mrs .Mikus announced a Church Parade of Guides Brownies, Cubs and Scouts on June 13. She des- crib ed a weekend camping trip with Guides and expressed gratitude to Mr.A.Mercure for use of his cabin, equipment and land. She also thanked mem- bers of the Local Association for the luncheon they served when Division Commissioner Mrs .D .Finch visited district Guiders here. Mrs.Mikus was given permission to order books for the Commissioner's library . Mrs .Alice Farrow will host the June meeting. The evening closed with luncheon served by the hostess. CONCERT PRESENTED BY MEN"S CHORUS For the thirteenth season the Terrace Bay Men's Chorus presented their annual Spring Concert Friday in the High school Auditorium. Under the direction of Conductor, Mr.Bert Lohr and accompanied at the piano by Brian Hubelit, the Chorus were most versa- tile in their performance, varying their program to the delight of their entire audience.
