The baseball game was held Friday evening on the Moose Field and it was nothing short of shell shock as the men first viewed their challengers. Such varied gear proved no handicap though to the ladies who were perhaps aided somewhat by a blinded um- pire, Frank Ginn. Strategy such as this must really be big league and includes a doctor and nurse to "quieten' anyone enroute to the home plate, or a straight out and out tackle. Many were the male patients, even unwillingly, before the game could commence. However, a good time was had by all and the proceeds of the silver collection will assist the men who are sponsoring a minor league baseball team. A social evening followed at the Legion Hall.
