Errol Morres, a student at Scollar Hall, No.Bay, visited his parents, Mr.and Mrs.Lloyd Morres for a week, _ Gail and Norman McNalty of Toronto, and in- fant daughter, are visiting her mother, Ne Slattery and family for two weeks. A toboggan party was held Sunday afternoon to celebrate the llth birthday of Leslie Ann Cotton. Ten girl friends joined in the games and party lunch which followed. The Loc;al Association to Guides and Brownies will meet Monday, March 22 at 8.30 at the home of Mrs.Gladys Sitch. The C.G.1.T. in Terrace Be are studying Trini- dad this year for Mission study. They previously covered India. The Ontarig Institute of Art are showing a travel- ling exhibit from Northwestern Ontario this week. On Thursday evening Art Club members, husbands and escorts will have a chance to view the exhibit along with the Schreiber Art Club. A commentary will be given by the Schreiber Art Instructor. On Saturday the ex hibit will be open to the pub- lic from 2-5 in the afternoon and 7.30 - 9.30 in the evening. Everyone is invited to attend. SCHREIBER WOMAN DIES IN PORT ARTHUR Mrs. Caroline (Carrie) Weaver 85, widow of the late Robert Weaver of Schreiber, died in Port Arthur hospital Monday \following a lengthy illness. She and her husband came to Schreiber in 1906 from Conse- con, Ont., and he predeceased 'her in 1943. She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge and active in United Church activities. Surviving are three sons, Hubert, Vernon and Russell; two daughters, Pearl (Mrs. J. Rattray), and Myrtle (Mrs. George Gordon), all of Schrei- ber. A brother Wallace also sur- vives in Consecon, Ont., near Belleville. There are 14 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.
